Chase Fieler and Florida Gulf Coast University made a splash in the NCAA tournament last year with their Dunk City Offense that powered them deep into the tournament as a Cinderella team.
Florida Gulf Coast didn't make the field of the tournament this year, but Chase will be present at the Final Four festivities this week.
Chase, a former Parkersburg South star, has been chosen to take part in the slam dunk contest in Dallas that is part of the Final Four week celebration
Chase flew to Dallas this morning and the dunk contest is set for Thursday night at 9 o'clock and will be televised on ESPN
Chase is one of 7 competitors, the winner will be decided based on the voting of a celebrity panel combined with voting on Twitter, so local fans can do their part to help Chase.
He wowed the country with this high flying jams at tournament time last year. And.over the last 2 seasons, Chase had more than 80 dunks to his credit for the Eagles.
Chase just completed his senior season at Florida Gulf Coast and he's now considering his playing options on the professional level.
