MARIETTA, Ohio – Senior shortstop Tim Saunders laced a single through the left side of the infield scoring junior catcher Alex Toth with the winning run in the bottom of the tenth inning to extend Marietta College’s winning streak to 11 games. The Pioneers defeated John Carroll University 3-2 in the first of two games Sunday afternoon. The Pioneers lost 8-2 in game 2.
