Foster Signs with Akron

Kyle Foster has been playing football since he was in second grade, and now the Parkersburg High senior knows he will be playing the sport he loves for at least the next four years.

Tuesday morning in the Big Red locker room Kyle signed a Letter of Intent accepting a college scholarship from the University of Akron.

His parents and coaches were on hand for the ceremony committing himself to the NCAA Division One Mid American Conference school.

Kyle will be punting for the Zips. His senior season he averaged 43 yards a punt and he earned First team All State honors and First Team All Conference honors.

Kyle credits coaches Don Reeves, Paul Sparks, and Dustin Ludolph for helping develop his talents, and allowing him to take his game to the next level
