West Virginia takes it's place in the spotlight on the national sports scene this week.
The Mountain State once again plays to the PGA Tour with the Greenbrier Classic
The White Sulphur Springs resort will host the 72 hole tournament which gets underway Thursday and runs through Sunday.
A field of more than 140 golfers will be competing for a purse of just over $1 million dollars.
In just a few short years, the tournament has earned a reputation for being first rate. Both for the amenities for the players and their families, and for entertainment on and off the course for the fans.
