Greenbrier Classic ovecomes Storm Damage

The PGA Tour makes it's annual stop in the Mountain State this week.
It's the Greenbrier Classic, and it will involve the biggest names golf.

Like most of West Virginia, the Greenbrier Resort received heavy damage from Friday's storms. Dozens of trees were knocked down and tents scoreboards were destroyed as well.

But the Greenbrier Resort staff and golf course grounds crew may have been down,, but they were not out. They've have been hard at work to get the course ready for play. and Greenbrier Resort owner Jim Justice vows to have everything ready for a first class event this week.

Players are arriving on site for practice rounds Tuesday and Wednesday. The tournament it self starts on Thursday and runs through Sunday. on the Old White course at the Greenbrier Resort.

The Field will divide 6 point 1 million dollars in prize money. with the winner getting nearly 1 point 1 million dollars .

Tiger Woods will be playing in t he tournament for the first time.
