The Marietta High School football program has a new head coach in charge....and it's a familiar name to Tiger fans.
Jason Schob's appointment as the Tigers head coach was approved this evening by the Marietta City School's Board of Education.
He replaces Adam Eichorn
The hiring bring's Jason's relationship with his Alma Mater full circle.
He quarterbacked the Tigers in his playing days a decade ago. Jason was a record setting passer for the Tigers and earned All Ohio honors.
After his playing days and college, Jason served as an assistant coach...first at Marietta....and then at Warren High School where he was on his father Andy Schob's staff.
Then in recent years he was an Offensive Coordinator for the Tigers.
The Marietta job has been a revolving door in recent year and Schob looks to bring continuity and stability to the football program.
