Marietta Splits with La Roche

MARIETTA, Ohio – Junior center fielder Aaron Hopper (Wheelersburg/Wheelersburg) had a bases-loaded walk-off single in the bottom of the eleventh inning to give the Marietta College Pioneers a 1-0 win over La Roche College in the first game Saturday (May 5) evening. The Pioneers would go on to split the twinbill as La Roche won the nitecap by the score of 7-3.
