Area high school football players are learning more about their sport and life this week at Parkersburg High School.
PHS is hosting a Player Development Camp sponsored by the NFL and the Army National Guard
Some 175 players from 7 area school are participating.
The purpose is to school the players in football and give them lessons that will serve them in life as well.
The camp wraps up on Friday with 7 on 7 drills at 5:30pm and then strong man challenge for the linemen and linebackers.
Friday's festivities are free to the public
