Moundsville— The Top Flite Junior Tour resumed Monday, holding two simultaneous tournaments at both the Northern and Eastern Panhandles. Sam Petty, of Belpre, Ohio, won the United Bank Low Round of today at Moundsville Country Club, shooting a score of 73. Winning the Girls’ United Bank Low Round of the Day was Elizabeth’s Adeena Shears, shooting an 84.

For the first time ever, the Top Flite Junior Tour has extended two same-day tournaments to its members. The decision to add multiple events in different locations throughout the state on the same day was created in an effort to accommodate more players on the Tour.

Winning the 12 and under division today was Oceana’s Colin Bowles, just one stroke behind today’s winner. Red House’s Alex Hamrick won the 13-14 division with a 77, while Morgantown’s Hunter Woods won the 17-18 division.
