West Virginia Mountaineer football coach Dana Holgorsen had the spotlight at the Big 12 media days in Dallas.
A big topic of discussion is the quarterback position..
Now that Geno Smith has moved on to the NFL, who will be the new man in charge of the Mountaineers offense?
The options include Clint Trickett, a transfer from Florida State .
Paul Millard, a 2 year backup to Smith., who has more experience running the WVU offense,
And a young freshman Ford Childress
Holgorsen says all 3 candidates have have an upside.
He says he will keep an open mind, and the starting quarterback should emerge from the pack during training camp next month.
