Defending Champion Sydney Snodgrass is co-leader after 2 rounds of the WV Women

After 2 rounds of the West Virginia Women's Amateur Golf Tournament, we are left with a champion versus champion story line for Wednesday's final round.

Defending champion Sydney Snodgrass, from Harrisville, and 4 time former champion Caroline Ramsey are deadlocked for the top spot after Tuesday's second round.

Snodgrass carded her second straight round of 3 over par 74, while Ramsey had the round of the day, a 1 over par round of 72, to move up the leaderboard.

The co-leaders are at 6 over par 148 for the tournament.

First round co-leader Adeena Shears, from Elizabeth, is alone in third place, 4 shots back after a round of 78. The other first round co-leader, Vienna's Lauryn Davidson, is in 4th place, another 3 shots off the pace.

Other local golfers include Daneen Shears in 6th place. Whitney Milhoan in 9th place, and Sue Goldcamp in 11th place

The tournament wraps up Wednesday at the Club at Cress Creek in Shepherdstown
