Talley Enshrined in Hall of Fame

(AP) - Former West Virginia linebacker Darryl Talley was enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame on Saturday in South Bend, Indiana.

Talley was a four-year starter for the Mountaineers from 1979-82. He set a career school record for tackles that stood for 20 years.

Talley was named an Associated Press All-American in 1982. He was a 2nd round pick by the Buffalo Bills and played in four Super Bowls with the team.

Talley is the 4th Mountaineer in the College Football Hall of Fame joining Major Harris, Ira Rodgers and former head coach Don Nehlen.

Former Ohio State running back and 1995 Heisman winner Eddie George was also inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
