For one night a year, Parkersburg is the capital of the Mountaineer nation.
The West Virginia Mountaineer Caravan made it's annual appearance at. J.P. Henry's this evening, and the sports bar and restaurant was packed to the rafters with faithful Mountaineer fans
These people support the Mountaineers with their cheers, and their checks. The event raises money for the Mountaineer Athletic Club's scholarship fund.
The voice of the mountaineers. Tony Caridi, was on hand to introduce coach football coach Dana Holgorsen, basketball coach Bob Huggins, and soccer coach Marlon LeBlanc. who brought the house down with some good natured jokes at the expense of his fellow coaches.
But Holgorsen and Huggins acknowledged the tough times their programs went through this past year. but they and their players are working hard for better days ahead
