Waterford Prepares for Ohio Track Meet

The Ohio High School Track and Field Championships are set for this weekend in Columbus and Washington County will be well represented.

5 Waterford Wildcat Athletes got their final work out in today on their home track.

Ally Rohrer, Maggie Kroll, Madison Sury and Lydia Beardsley will be representing the Wildcats in the 4 by 200 meter race.

The quartet was put together just a few weeks ago. And the chemistry really clicked. The group set a school record in the event and finished second in the regionals.

Sury will also be running for victory in the 800 and the long jump as well and Rohrer takes part in the 100 hurdles.

Head coach Scott Miller has a a talented group that is ready to do it's best in Columbus.

Athletes representing Belpre, Warren, Fort Frye, and Marietta will also be competing in the state meet.
