For the second time in as many attempts, Cale Conley qualified in the top 15 for a Nationwide Series race. Friday he earned the 11th spot after qualifying with a lap speed of 29.1 seconds.
Friday night, Conley got some experience in aggressive Nationwide driving. After avoiding a crash with Ryan Sieg in the early stages, Conley spun out with just 52 laps to go.
Although he hit the wall, the crew fixed his car enough to let him finish the race. He placed 32nd.
