Ashley Rittenhouse joined the WTAP News team in July 2012 as the Daybreak producer.
She was born and raised in the Mid-Ohio Valley, graduating from Warren High School in Vincent in 2004 and Marietta College in 2008. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Radio/Television, with minors in Journalism and Advertising/Public Relations.
While at Marietta College she spent a lot of time working on the student run news program on WCMO-TV, anchoring, producing, operating the camera and doing many other tasks. She became News Director in her senior year. She was also a member of the Marietta College Chapter of the National Broadcasting Society, serving as vice-president in her senior year.
Also during college Ashley interned at WTAP-TV and worked during her breaks at Results Radio, delivering the news.
She most recently worked as a reporter at the Marietta Times.
Ashley has had a desire to work in news since she was in elementary school!
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason, and her family. She also enjoys shopping.
