Rich Donnelly joined the WTAP news team as a Sports Anchor/Reporter in September 2011.

Rich co-anchors the Friday Football Frenzy show with Jim Wharton. In January of 2012 Rich covered West Virginia's Orange Bowl win in Miami Florida.

Prior to coming to WTAP, Rich worked as a Sports Multimedia Journalist at WHAM in Rochester, NY. While there he covered the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Syracuse Orange, multiple NY State Championship high school football teams and other local sports.

Rich is a huge sports fan and is happy to discuss anything in the world of sports. He is thrilled to be in a town where thousands of people show up to high school football games. Rich is a proud graduate of Marquette University, in Milwaukee, WI, and he lives and breathes Marquette Basketball. While at Marquette he covered the 2008 and 2009 Big East Tournament in New York City.

When he's not at the station, Rich enjoys watching and playing sports as well as spending time with his lovely wife, Theresa.
