High water left behind by Tuesday's rain has is forcing road closures in Ohio.
Athens County closures include:
Route 56 between the Vinton Co. line and Athens Corp
Route 144 between US 50 and SR 329
Route 329 between SR 144 and SR 550
Route 356 between SR 681 and SR 56
Route 550 between SR 690 and SR 329
Route 681 between SR 356 and US 50
Route 685 between SR 78 and SR 13
Hocking County closures include:
Route 56 between Laurelville and Vonton Co. line
Meigs County closures include:
Route 124 between SR 325 and SR 7
Route 143 between SR 7 and SR 684
Vinton County closures include:
Route 56 between SR 93 and SR 328
Route 328 between SR 93 and SR 56
Route 349 between Jackson Co. line and SR 160
Washington County Closures include:
Route 260 on SR 26 at Bloomfield (SR26 and SR 260)
According Washington County tSheriff Larry Mincks, State Route 26 at Mile Post 25 is closed due to high water. Only closure in Washington County so far this Wednesday morning.
