The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is helping in the investigation of the death of an employee at Constellium Rolled Products in Ravenswood.
Constellium spokesperson Laura Prisc says Jesse McClure, 62, was an equipment operator in the company's plate department.
He was found unresponsive by a co-worker at the plant early Friday morning. Prisc says McClure was later pronounced dead at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley.
Constellium has halted operations at the Ravenswood plant while an investigation is under way. Counselors have been brought in for company employees.
McClure was a 40-year employee of the plant.
WTAP News has confirmed the death of a worker at Constellium Rolled Products in Ravenswood.
OSHA confirmed the death and that it is conducting an investigation into what happened.
The company has not commented.
