WEEKNIGHT ANCHOR

WTAP-TV needs a 5 and 10pm anchor. The candidate will co-anchor the 5pm weeknight newscast on WTAP-TV with the news director, and also anchor and produce the 10pm on WOVA FOX Parkersburg. We are looking for a dynamic journalist who has the personality and journalism background to make a connection with our viewers. We do not want a news reader. This person must be able to produce, edit non-linear and also be willing to post stories to the web and engage viewers on social media. You’ll be part of an award winning, dominant news team serious about serving the community with breaking news, and relevant content. Two years of on-air reporting/anchoring experience preferred.
