Before joining WTAP-TV as a full-time employee, Kathleen interned at the station during her days at Parkersburg High School and during college at Ohio University.

Kathleen served as a news anchor and a reporter at WTAP-TV. In the spring of 2002, she left the Mid-Ohio Valley to anchor the morning news at News 14 Carolina in Charlotte.

In 2005, Kathleen joined FOX 8 in Cleveland as a reporter. She is married to the mayor of Parma, Ohio.
