For two nights you can purchase tickets to ride an authentic sternwheeler bound for Blennerhassett Island taking you back more than 200 years in history where you and others will become guests at the home of Harman and Margaret Blennerhassett.
Transformed into an 18th century party, Blennerhassett Island and its magnificent mansion is illuminated by hundreds of candles and lantern boxes. Docents, dressed in the style of the period will welcome you and the soft glow of candle lights. See 18th century dances, or watch a lively game of cards, before strolling outside to enjoy the many planned activities on the island.
A special candlelight "harvest supper", consisting of Tavern ham, baked potato, green beans, roll and butter, dessert and beverage, will be offered with advance reservations. The island concession will also be open and offer its regular menu items.

National Historic Register Plaque Presentation

Kid's Archaeology Day

Campus Martius Museum, Marietta, OH
Activities will be continuous throughout the day from 10:00 until 3:00.
Displays will be set up and experts available to answer questions. This day will satisfy the hobbyist and those children who are career minded about the field of archaeology.
Campus Martius Museum will be open its regular hours, 9:30 to 5:00 for those who want to participate in the event and tour the museum.
