Convergence: Photographs of Marietta that Was

Gallery 310, Hermann Fine Arts Center, Marietta College, Marietta, OH
Marietta College Art Department is pleased to present Convergence: Photographs of Marietta That Was opening in Gallery 310 in the Hermann Fine Arts Center.

The exhibition will run from April 11 to May 11, 2014, with an opening reception on Friday, April 11, from 6pm to 8pm.

The exhibition features a selection from over 10,000 photographs of the Stephen Durward Hoag collection, now a part of Marietta College’s Special Collections. He also collected and re-photographed prints made by earlier photographers.

The show is curated by Marietta College students enrolled in Art History 461: Art of Collecting and Museum Practices.

The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. Regular gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Hermann Fine Arts Center is handicapped accessible.
