Stage Production of the Comedy Classic "Noises Off"

Hermann Fine Arts Center, 500 Butler Street, Marietta Ohio
This hilarious comedy follows the downward spiral of the stage show “Nothing’s On” from dress rehearsal through the chaos of closing night. In Act I the cast is hopelessly unready, and baffled by entrances and exits, missed cues, missed lines, and bothersome props, including several plates of sardines. In Act II, the set rotates 180 degrees to show the backstage bedlam during a performance from the deteriorating relationships between the cast members. In the Act III final performance, the mounting series of mishaps result in the plot being abandoned entirely and delightful ad-libbing by the more coherent characters towards some sort of end.
