If you are a WV resident and want to quit your dirty little habit, you may be eligible to receive free patches, gum, lozenges, and BACC Off (no tobacco chew). You will receive free educational material and support coaching. Call 1-877-966-8784 for more information.
Tips to quit include making a plan and review your daily habit. Recognize how you will need to change your routine. Ask for support from friends, family, and co-workers that will support your plan. Refer to your doctor about medications that can help you quit. Set a quit date and put substitutes in places you previously kept cigarettes, snuff, or chew. Learn about possible withdrawal symptoms. Reward yourself with the savings you will have from not buying any more tobacco. Remember it is hard to change everyday habits. If you relapse, don’t get discouraged, try again.
