You hear about popular websites getting a lot of hits. We'll, there have been a lot of hits for Todd on the state of West Virginia's website for children up for adoption.

People are interested in him for many reasons and social workers are keeping their eyes open for the best family match.

Todd is July's Wednesday's Child.

It is known around the state as one of the best places to enjoy the great outdoors.

So it was at Ritchie County's North Bend State Park where Todd and I got to flutter around with one of his favorite pastimes.

"I like bugs, want to be an entomologist," says Todd.

Todd's fascination with four-legged things doesn't stop here. He likes dogs and cats. Spiders are really cool and having a brother or two would be great.

This 14-year old is a bit shy.

Being in and out of foster homes, opening up to complete strangers, and then having to pick up and start all over again, you could understand why he sometimes keeps to himself.

His social worker, the state's adoption specialist, and others believe in the potential of this kid and slowly but surely he's believing in himself.

"I'm not that good in school now but I'm trying to raise my grades up."

Todd not only has a hunger for bettering himself, dish him up some, "Hot dogs and macaroni and cheese."

And this guy would be content, a big appetite for food, fun, and family.
