It was a cold April day when we first met Tommy and luckily he moonlighted as our weather anchor.
"It's also blowing around out there so be careful with your cars. It could be a little windy!" said Tommy.
Not much blows over this curious 14-year-old.
"He definitely has a real thirst of knowledge in a positive way," said Karissa Loring, a recruiter for Wendy's Wonderful Kids.
Tommy is interested in television, playing ball, and the Lion King.
He is a talented seventh grader who loves math and science.
"I want to build stuff like tree houses," he said.
Now he wants to build the rest of his life upon the base of a strong family.
"Tommy's a really good boy and he is getting to the point in his life that he really wants a family and he's been waiting for awhile. So for someone to be willing to give him a chance would be a great start over for Tommy at this point in his life," said Loring.
And he has a simple wish list..."I'd like to play board games go upstairs and sleep in," said Tommy.
Memories he hopes to create with a forever family.
