Jessica is wild about horses and thanks to the Shiloh Trail Riding Club at North Bend State Park, Jessica got to ride a horse for the first time last week.
"That was great! I got to feed them and I got to get a kiss!" Jessica said.
She is a compassionate fifth grader who even helps take care of the pets at the foster home where she currently lives.
"I water them. I feed them," Jessica said.
Even when Jessica grows up she dreams of taking care of others as a doctor "because they help people" but now she needs others to help her.
Jessica has been living in a foster home and wants to find a forever family to share her enthusiasm for life with.
Jessica has some special needs including mild cerebral palsy but she doesn't let this get in her way. She still runs and plays sports.
Her favorites are basketball and soccer plus she like cheerleading and dance too.
This fifth grader hopes to one day have a family cheering for her on the sidelines and a mom and dad to go out to eat with.
