This 15-year-old is an avid reader who like most is crazy about the Twilight series.
She also loves doing makeup and hair so we took her to a local salon to learn more from professionals.

Last week we took 15-year-old Linda to Headlines Day Spa in Parkersburg. It was the first time this high school sophomore got a professional manicure.

"I do the girls in my cottage hair and makeup all the time," said Linda.
Now it was time for her to get pampered and learn from the professionals at Headlines because she wants to become a cosmetologist.

Linda has known most of her life that her passion is to do hair and makeup. She even started practicing at a young age.
I would put eyeshadow up to my forehead!

This teen also excels in school. Besides lunch, her favorite subject is English.

Also she really enjoys sports. "I've played football, basketball and track."

This 15-year-old has had to move around a lot and currently lives in a group home. Now Linda's very ready for a forever family.

"I just want someone to accept me for who I am and not try to change me. That's pretty much it."

She said she would also like brothers and sisters in the home.

After the trip to the salon, we went to lunch together at a Parkersburg Wendy's.

During our time there this teen with big beautiful hazel eyes showed us how she warms up to people and how she really wishes she could be part of a family.
