She's a 16-year-old who's passionate about helping animals and spends most of her time reading mystery novels.

This kind teenager puts others before herself. She currently lives in foster care and needs a forever family to help her reach for her dreams.

This soon to be sophomore in high school is setting herself up to succeed in life.

"I love reading and sports, playing basketball," said Nikki.

She'd rather be playing sports than watching it on TV or sitting on the sidelines. This smart young lady is humble about her talents.

"I think my favorite subjects are math and science."
At age 16 she already knows what she wants out of life- to help animals.

"I lived on a ranch before and they had sheep and when they'd have their lambs they were always dying and I hated that and so I told my foster mom that I wanted to become a vet so I could save as many as I could," said Nikki.

Her caring nature extends to her biological brothers who've already been adopted. She is currently in foster care and visits them regularly.

It's one thing she wants to continue even when she hopes to head off to college.

"I don't know just as long as I could see my brothers."

Now this selfless teen needs the love and support from a forever family to help her reach for her goals.

"I'm kind of a laid back person. I've lived in all kinds of different families so maybe just like a couple siblings, not too many.
Has it been hard moving around a lot? Yeah," Nikki said.

Despite tough times, Nikki, is striving to be the best she can be and now she needs a safe, stable, and loving home to help make her dreams come true.
