He's an energetic 12 year old who loves all things sports and can even you make you laugh. Want proof? Meet Arthur, he's this month's Wednesday's Child.
12 year old, Arthur wanted to spend a day of fun in Parkersburg, so we showed some of the coolest places in town, starting right here at WTAP.
Meteorologist Jonathan Kennedy showed Arthur all about the weather and he even got a chance to give it a try for himself in front of the green screen.
"I think it's pretty cool," Arthur says.
Arthur didn't seem to mind learning about weather. After all, Science is one of his favorite subjects.
"Math and Science. I was just kind of good at them so I started practicing them more, and now I have really good grades in them."
Next, we took Arthur to Adventure Station where he got to enjoy lots of arcade games, plus..
"laser tag, and the put put golf was pretty fun."
And just like picking out that perfect prize, Arthur is looking for the perfect family.
"Roaming space, some space outside. I like animals. I like dogs and cats. Brothers and sisters. It gets boring sometimes when you're alone."
After all the fun and games, Arthur took a walk along the river at Point Park.. He says, he loves being outside.
"I ride my bike, and 4 wheelers usually. I like the scenery."
One of his best traits....making people laugh!
"What do you put in a bucket to make it lighter? There's two things. One, you can put a hole, like, cut a hole in it. And two you can put a lit match because it will brighten it up."
Arthur is ready for a family to call his own and he's looking forward to a long happy life together.
"Spend time together...just like a normal family."
