This caring teenager puts others before himself but he needs a forever family to help care for him. Meet Jonathan, April's Wednesday's Child.

I met this teen at North Bend State Park on a rainy April day and his joyful personality brightened up the scenery. He currently lives in foster care but really needs a home to call his own.

Forget TV, this bright eyed 16-year-old would rather be exploring the great outdoors.

Jonathan currently lives in foster care but spends most of his free time close to nature which he dreams of sharing with a forever family some day.

"Go fishing, ride bikes and everything," he said. "What about going out to eat?" I asked him. He said "Oh yeah!"

He's an easygoing ninth grader who's willing to branch out and try new activities like miniature golf.

"It was good. It takes me awhile to do it" he said but he didn't give up.

Now he needs a mom and dad to help guide his swing, through the rest of his life.

"What do you want to do when you grow up?" I asked. He said "work on cars." But it's not the items in his life that he cares the most about it's the people.

Staying in touch with his younger brother is very important to him.

"See my brother, my little brother. I miss him a lot," he said.

A West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources employee said Jonathan is a lovable teen who needs a home with parents who will spend time with him.

A mom and dad who will help him forge ahead on life's path.
