Danielle joined WTAP in May 2013 as the Marietta Bureau Reporter.
Originally from Boston, Danielle went to Marietta College and graduated in 2012 with a major in broadcasting, minor in communications and certificate in leadership. She also played soccer and track while at Marietta College.
Danielle was the Station Manager for WCMO Channel 15, the college TV station. Where from freshmen year on, she was an anchor, producer and reporter. During school she interned at BCATV, a local station at home, calling sporting events. She was also Vice-President of the National Broadcasting Society Chapter at Marietta. After graduation, Danielle went on to intern at New England Cable News in Boston. At NECN, she was an assignment desk, newsroom and reporting intern.
Danielle knew she wanted to work in news ever since high school, when she was the girl on the morning announcements. Ever since then, her passion and determination for the news business has grown her love for bringing you the stories first. It was during her time at NECN that she knew being back in the Mid-Ohio Valley was best. Even though it's not near the ocean, the river is doing the trick. Danielle enjoys running, boating, waterskiing, soccer, spending time with friends and family, and of course, most of all, talking.
She is very excited to become a member of the community, creating lifelong friendships.
She left WTAP in February 2015 and was hired as WDBJ7’s Danville Bureau Chief in Virginia.
In 2016, she left the news business for a position in public relations.
