Jaush Huntsberger

Jaush Huntsberger joined the WTAP news team in October 2013 and can be found anchoring the sportscasts on the weekends and reporting during the week.

He's from Logan, Ohio, and graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelors degree in broadcast journalism.

While at Ohio, he worked four years at the student-run WOUB-Television Station. He worked for various sports shows, covering the Bobcats and high school sports. In 2012, he hosted the high school football show Gridiron Glory, and won a student production Emmy Award from the Ohio Valley-NATAS Chapter for Best Sports Program.

Jaush says that watching countless hours of Sportscenter as a child is what made him want to become a sports journalist. He's excited to be working for an area that has such a strong passion for high school sports.

He left WTAP in September 2015. As of 2015, he no longer works in the news industry.
