2 charged in alleged theft from Parkersburg skate shop

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Authorities have charged two men in connection with the alleged theft of $25,000 worth of property from a Parkersburg skate shop.

Douglas Corbin 21, and Logan Coon, 22, are charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny. Both men were arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court and released from custody after each posted a $10,000 bond.

Parkersburg police obtained a warrant to search a residence at 1601 19th St., where they recovered the stolen items.

Police said the theft at the Confiskated Skate Shop, 3601 Emerson Ave., happened on the night of Oct. 31 and Nov. 1. Among the items reported missing were a DVR system for the security cameras; multiple skateboards, parts and accessories; wax; shirts; pants; other clothing items; and multiple different brands of shoes, helmets and pads.
