FLEMING, Ohio (WTAP) - UPDATE: 10/3/2017 9:37 p.m.

A house in Washington County is reduced to rubble after a fire ripped through it Tuesday afternoon.

Four fire departments battled the blaze that broke out around 4 p.m. at a residence at the Lazy H Farm on Fischer Ridge Road in Fleming.

Fire officials say it's a total loss.

No one in the residence or any of the firefighters were injured. It's unclear how many people lived in the residence.

Greg Fischer, the fire chief of the Barlow Volunteer Fire Department, said putting the fire out was a team effort.

"We just got a report a fully involved structure fire on arrival it was fully involved. We had mutual aid departments from Dunham, Watertown and Warren that assisted it. Water was an issue due to lack of hydrants in the area. The structure is pretty much gone," he said.

The Ohio State Fire Marshal is helping investigate the cause.
