WASHINGTON COUNTY, Oh.-(WTAP) Speed could be a factor in a Sunday afternoon accident in Washington County.
An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper says the westbound car went off the right side of Ohio route 550 near Barlow, striking a tree in a resident's yard.
Three of the four people inside the vehicle were taken to Marietta Memorial Hospital's main campus. The driver was taken to MMH's Belpre campus.
Names of the occupants were not available, but the trooper told us at the scene their injuries were not believed to be serious.
The patrol says, due to the lack of tracks from braking, the vehicle is believed to have been going at a high rate of speed.
