Home destroyed in Lowell, Ohio fire

LOWELL, Ohio (WTAP) - Update: 1/2/2018

Fire investigators say four dogs and a snake died in a home destroyed by fire Monday night near Lowell, Ohio.

The investigation into the cause of that fire continues.


Firefighters say a home in Lowell is completely destroyed by a fire.
They say it happened around 6:30 p.m. Monday on New Year's Day.

The trailer was on the 14-hundred block of Weppler Road. No one was inside when it happened.

Firefighters say it was fully involved when they got there and it's a total loss. They've been working to put it out for at least three hours.

It was still burning at 9:30 p.m. They say it's still too early to tell how the fire started.
