PARKERSBURG, W. Va. (WTAP) - Several roads around Parkersburg will have temporary lane closures for 2 weeks, as Parkersburg Utility Board workers work on a manhole rehabilitation project to improve the sewer system.

Work will begin on Monday, March 6, 2017 with work hours scheduled for 6 pm to 7 am each night. The work is expected to continue for the next two weeks.

The current location of the manhole work is the Ohio Avenue, 19th Street and Garfield Avenue area. The work will require temporary lane closures and traffic restrictions when necessary.

The Parkersburg Utility Board asks drivers to use alternate routes if possible, and to drive carefully around the work zones.
