MARIETTA, Oh.-(WTAP) Marietta High School's boys basketball coach is not on the court for the time being.
Marietta Superintendent of Schools Will Hampton says coach Glenn Dawson has been placed on paid administrative leave.
Hampton would not comment further on the reasons for that leave, saying the situation is a personnel matter.
The News Center received an e-mail over the weekend, claiming a "third party" was investigating allegations against Dawson.
When asked about that, Hampton said, "There is not a third party investigation at this time".
Dawson is in his second season coaching the Tigers basketball team. He has coached locally and nationally on the elementary, high school and AAU levels.
He was officially hired in the summer of 2016.
