MARIETTA, Ohio - UPDATE: 10/11/2017, 2:00 P.M.

A Marietta native and "game show fanatic" won $5,000 on Wednesday's episode of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?"

Griffin got stuck on a $10,000 question about a character in the nursery rhyme "Monday's Child."

On that question, Griffin used his "Ask the Audience" lifeline, but wanted a second opinion.

So, Griffin used his final lifeline and called his friend Adam to the stage to help him find the answer.

Adam suggested the answer was “Tuesday’s Child,” so Griffin picked that for his final answer.

However, the correct answer was actually “Thursday’s Child.”

Because Travis missed the $10,000 question his final winnings on "Millionaire" dropped down to $5,000.
