No one injured in house fire on 31st Street in Parkersburg

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A Parkersburg family escaped safely after a fire damaged their home on 31st Street early Tuesday morning.

The Wood County 911 Center says at 4:26 a.m. Tuesday, the Parkersburg Fire Department responded to a front porch fire at a home on the corner of 31st Street and Birch Street in Parkersburg.

Everyone inside the home escaped safely and no one was injured.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze by 4:50 a.m.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
