Public meetings planned on route 14 improvements

PARKERSBURG, W.Va.-(WTAP) Moving ahead with improvements to West Virginia route 14.

The Wood-Washington-Wirt Interstate Planning Commission was told Wednesday a plan for improvements to the two-lane roadway near Pettyville have been completed.

Two public meetings are planned for early December for the public to comment.

The first is scheduled to be held in Parkersburg December 5, and a second is to be held in Marietta the next day.

The improvements range from widening the roadway to installing bicycle and other recreation paths.
