WOOD COUNTY, WV - Drivers on U.S. Route 50 in Wood County may experience minor traffic delays as repaving work starts Monday.

The West Virginia Division of Highways says crews will be repaving a section of U.S. Route 50, between the intersection of Stillwell Road (County Route 26) and just west of the intersection of Townsend Road (County Route 50/35).

The repaving will start on Monday, September 11th, and is scheduled to end on November 17th, if weather doesn't delay the work.

Work is expected to happen 24-hours each day until the repaving is completed.

Drivers are advised to use caution near the work zones, and watch for lowered speed limits and temporary traffic control devices.
