Sobriety Checkpoint set for Friday on WV 95 in Parkersburg

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - The West Virginia State Police will conduct a Sobriety Checkpoint on WV Route 95 (Camden Avenue) in Parkersburg on Friday, November 9th.

The Sobriety Checkpoint will be set up from 6:00 PM to midnight on Friday, November 9, in front of the State Farm office on WV Route 95, Camden Avenue, in Parkersburg.

An alternate location for the Sobriety Checkpoint will be on WV Route 14 in Boaz, near Williamstown.

Prior court decisions in West Virginia and Ohio require law enforcement agencies in those states to publicly announce the date, time and location of future DUI and insurance checkpoints in advance.
