LITTLE HOCKING, Ohio, (WTAP)- Late Monday evening, a severe storm made its way through the Mid-Ohio Valley causing damage across many counties, including Little Hocking.
Several people have reported trees falling on their homes and dozens of downed power lines in their neighborhoods. There were also multiple roads blocked by large tree limbs and scattered debris.
One Little Hocking home owner said she was on her front porch when the storm hit. She says she ran from the back of her home when she saw lightning, right before a tree landed on her front porch. She also stated her neighbor witnessed the tree getting struck by lightning. Fortunately she and her neighbors were uninjured from the storm.
