Union Williams PSD issues boil water order for parts of Parkersburg

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - The Union Williams Public Service District has issued a Boil Water Order for parts of Parkersburg.

Starting on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, all water customers located on Lynwood Place, and between 226 and 249 North Hills Drive should either use bottled water, or boil their tap water before using it to drink, bathe, brush their teeth, make ice, cook, wash dishes, or any other use.

UWPSD says it is repairing a water line leak, and that water coming through that line may possibly be contaminated until repairs are complete.

There is no estimate on when the boil water order will be lifted.
