Volunteer group offers free tax filing help at Vienna Library

If you haven't filed your taxes yet, the clock is ticking.
With just four weeks left to claim your money, one local group can help.

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Group will be holding free sessions at the Vienna library to file your taxes.
It has about a dozen volunteers to assist with free, individualized tax preparation.
But it's only for low to moderate income taxpayers or those 60 or older.

Tax assistance volunteer Barry Drew says:

"This is a way to meet that obligation relatively painlessly and certainly free of charge. just come in and sign up. you may have to wait an hour or two, but we will do the taxes with you while you wait and send you home with everything done."

The group will be at the Vienna Public Library each Tuesday from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., and each Wednesday from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M., until April 12th.

“Tax Day" this year is April 18th, which is the last day to file your taxes.
