PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A woman pleads guilty to drug charges and gets her sentence in Wood County court Monday.
Ashley Davis pleaded guilty to the offense of Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance. In court Monday, the motion for probation or alternative sentencing was denied, since the courts say she's likely to commit crime again.
Instead, Judge Waters sentenced her to one to five years in prison. She'll get 126 days of credit for time already served.
The facility she'll be placed in will also provide her with substance abuse treatment while she's incarcerated.
