PARKERSBURG, W.Va.-(WTAP) The Wood County Commission could soon see some written plans for the move of some county offices.
Commission President Blair Couch says the moves involving the mapping, probate and compliance offices to new locations was first discussed back in February.
The effort would be part of a consolidation of offices in the courthouse and county buildings.
Couch says the commission wants to address the costs involved and other issues before going ahead with the idea.
County officials supporting the idea are to present their proposals at a future commission meeting.
